Vocational Pathways
Our Vocational Pathways are designed to provide our young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence that they need to succeed in college, the workplace and beyond. Our bespoke pathways provide a nurturing and supportive environment for learners to explore various career options, gain hands-on experience, and build essential life and work skills.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a pathway that inspires learners to realise their unique potential, equipping them with the tools to navigate the complexities of the modern workplace and lead fulfilling, independent lives. We are committed to fostering resilience, adaptability, and confidence in our learners, ensuring they are prepared to thrive in their chosen paths.
Our Vocational Curriculum Offer
Our Vocational curriculum is structured to provide a balance of practical, theoretical, and personal development opportunities. It is designed to meet learners where they are, helping them progress step by step toward achieving their goals.
Key Components of the Curriculum: AQA Awards are offered to all our children and young people at APTCOO matched to their interests and future career aspirations. The certificates are gained by demonstrating a range of skills that are linked to key learning objectives from Entry Level through to Level 2. The certificates are stored in a personal development portfolio that demonstrates a commitment to their interests and life beyond APTCOO. The King’s Trust Personal Development and Employability Skills are also offered from Entry Level through to Level 2 Awards.
